Here's an overview of the game - which is coming to Kickstarter soon.
The Combat
You can leverage destructible objects (like radioactive barrels, acid pipes, electrical wires, hologram projectors, etc.) when you encounter them in a fight.

Different terrains will require and will allow different strategies. For example, you can throw enemies down from buildings.

There are 15 statuses that provide a variety of effects.

There are a couple more features to spice up the combat, but we'll reveal them only when the Kickstarter goes live.
The Classes
At the moment, these are the classes planned (the first 3 are currently playable in the demo):
- Bounty Hunter – think about it as the ranger/archer cyberpunk equivalent.
- Surgeon – think about it as the cleric cyberpunk equivalent.
- Hacker – think about it as the mage cyberpunk equivalent.
- Ninja – think about it as the warrior cyberpunk equivalent.

More classes are designed and could end up in the game if we meet the stretch goals on Kickstarter:
- Machinist – think about it as the summoner/shapeshifter cyberpunk equivalent. [Still considering if this will be a stretch goal or will be a “base class”]
- Ammunitionist - can only use weapons that shoot physical projectiles, but will use special ammo for those weapons... for example exploding ammo or smart bullets that can hit multiple targets.
- Slaver - can go around slaving humans, robots and mutants to later use them in combat. Can be played only as a evil character.
- Many more classes...
The Skills
Each class has 3 skills tree - each with 8 skills. So there's a total of 24 skills per class.

When leveling up, you can pick any skill from any skill tree (as long as you have the requirements, like a high enough character level), so you’re free to fully customize your play style.
All the skills in the skill trees are castable ones. It means that these aren’t passive, you’ll actively use them.

Other than the skills from the skill trees, there are also items that grant additional skills. There are certain items that you equip for sole purpose of casting their special ability - for example, a glove that shoots laser beams.

Another example: certain weapons have a "special mode", which is basically a unique use of the weapon that results in a skill.

There's another secret super-cool feature about the skills that we are considering to put in the game - probably it'll be a stretch goal. But we'll talk about it in the future.
The Items
Items are very important for our game design.
There are 4 item rarities: common, rare, epic, masterpiece.

Weapons, armors and quick items are the current equipments. There’s one more secret piece that we’re considering… but it could end up as a stretch goal.

Certain equipments grant you skills (remember that skills, in BioSynth, are always active castable skills). For example: a certain shotgun that can grasp an enemy with a chain, bring it closer to you and shoot if from close position.

Other than equipments, there are a variety of other items. But we want to keep your inventory management pretty easy, so there won't be much "useless junk" in your backpack.

The World
The game takes place in a lore-rich vibrant world.

You'll meet many fascinating characters, each with their own story.

If you're interested in learning more about the world and some of the locations that you'll visit during your adventures, you can read more here.
The Enemies
You'll face quite a few types of enemies - from humans to robots, from cyborgs to mutants.
As we develop the game more and more, we plan on expanding the enemies database.

This also means adding bosses to the game - most of which will be optional fights.

By the way, notice that someone's friend could turn into your enemies - so choose your alliances carefully.
Quests and Reputation
Some of the sidequests are branched, so you can solve them in a few different ways.

The way you behave will have an impact on NPCs' response to you.
We accomplish this thanks to a reputation system composed of three parts:
- Karma: a measure of how good or evil you are.
- Fame: your popularity.
- Factions reputations: how each specific faction sees you.

As you progress through the game, after reaching certain levels of fame, karma or a specific faction reputation, you'll become the target of different types of bounty hunters.
The Companions
At the moment there are 3 companions:
- A bounty hunter
- A surgeon
- A hacker
And we'll add more as the development goes on.

Each companion has their background story and own personality.
And, of course, your companions have their own quests.
